Shariefa Dollie

Biografie:

Anti-Mobbing-Kampagnen vom CRC an einigen Schulen eingeführt.

Biography:

My name is Shariefa Dollie and I am presently teaching at Windsor High School, Lansdowne, Cape Town, South Africa. I have matriculated in 1986, when “apartheid” was very much alive in South Africa. During my high school years I played an active role in the fight against “apartheid”. I was the Secretary of the Student Representative Council and also a founding member of the Youth Movement in my area. Our movement was actively involved in the struggle against “apartheid”. We worked hand in hand with other organizations, then known to be the United Democratic Front (UDF) of which our current Minister of Finance, Trevor Manuel, was also a member.

I graduated from the University of Cape Town (UCT) in 1989 with a B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) degree in Mathematics and Chemistry. I thereafter completed my H.D.E (Higher Diploma in Education), in 1990, also at UCT. Over and above studying other courses, I have also pursued a B.Com(Bachelor of Commerce) at UCT, on a part time basis, whilst still teaching.

I have been teaching for 13 years at a variety of schools, especially those schools
rife with violence and drugs. The morale of learners and teachers at most of these schools were extremely low and this caused me to study a variety of courses ranging from NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), BAT (Body Alignment Techniques) and Brain Gym- Kinesiology. These courses focused predominantly on self-development and empowerment.

I was often confronted with the stalk reality that conventional learning/schooling did very little for the learners and teachers alike. Yet, we were expected to perform academically. I realized that my conservative background did very little to help me address the problem that was facing me in my daily contact with young people and fellow educators because they simply resigned themselves to their fate.
All this and more prompted me to look at various alternative-learning methods. Hence, my studies into the above fields.

I have come to realize that our schools/student body needs to have support and intervention programmes, which are not provided for by our educational system. Research has shown that learners suffering from trauma, anxiety, abuse etc, usually have a learning barrier. I have thus initiated a group called the Learning Support Services (LSS). It is the aim and objective of the LSS to address this problem and to work hand in hand with existing structures like the Children Resource Centre (CRC). Thus far many awareness programmes, like the Anti-Bullying Campaigns, have been introduced at some schools by the CRC. Our question is, how are we going to address the problems of those children who suffered emotionally or who have been traumatized by such bullying amongst others. And why do children bully. Do they not have problems themselves that needs to be addressed? This programme engenders a sense of self-empowerment to victims of violence and abuse.

I have also started a programme called Beta Maths, which also make use of Body Alignment Techniques and Brain Gym. I am currently working with Grade 10 learners who have been failing Maths ever since they started High School. These learners were led to belief that they are not good enough to do Maths. Because of their weak foundation, they have lost all hope of passing this subject. My belief is finding out what is holding you back, acceptance of this and then start with a programme of changing all these negative beliefs that negatively impacts on your life.

Body Alignment Technique (BAT): Is a practical system for transformation and healing:

Body  Alignment is a system of holistic healing that can be very effectively used to enhance learning. Our body is like a computer. It stores memories of trauma, disease, pollutants and all lifestyle stress. BAT is a means of accessing that computer to identify where the imbalance or blockage is, to find the underlying cause and to energetically release it. Energy blockages are released through balancing vibrational energy points associated with the organs, glands and systems of the body. It enables us to move into a phase of self empowerment and transformation.

BAT has been known to

· BALANCE the physical structure, organs, glands, body systems, meridians and chakras

· RELEASE suppressed emotions, blockages, toxicity and stress

· INCREASE vitality, self-confidence and self empowerment

· IMPROVE digestion, assimilation and immune response

· RELIEVE pain and fatigue

· ALIGN the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies

We live in an extremely toxic world and absorb toxins from the air, water and our food. These toxins accumulate in our bodies and ultimately congest our eliminative organs, deplete our bodies of oxygen, and ultimately cause disease. The body has a powerful ability to heal itself, but for it to do so effectively it is necessary to remove the pollution with which it has been overburdened.

As we move into a new era, there is a need to break the genetic patterns so that we are not dragging forward the physical, psychological and emotional patterns of the past. We have convinced ourselves that if our parents and forefathers suffered from certain physical ailments, then we are vulnerable to the same weaknesses. In Body Alignment, we are demonstrating that some of these patterns may be erased so that we may move forward into new modes of thinking and functioning.

Body Alignment uses body points to access the energetic field of organs, glands and systems.  For example there is a point for the stomach, but this is the energy field of the stomach.  It also uses muscle testing (applied kinesiology) or a pendulum to test whether that energetic field is strong or weak.  When weak, the system has a means to balance that field, so that it strengthens.

With most physical problems, there are emotions involved, and the technique discovers exactly which emotions are locked into that illness. When the whole story is unveiled, the client has the opportunity to go back to the incident and experience it in a new way.  This raises the energy frequency of the person, and incredible changes occur.

Over and above treating individuals or groups of students using Body Alignment Techniques,  we could also work in a school environment . One would be to balance the energy of the whole school, or even just one classroom. In this process we first map out the electromagnetic and geopathic stress areas. We then find solutions to neutralise those stress areas using vortex cards  and / or energy devices.

What are Energy Devices and Vortex Cards:

“ Energy Devices”: These consists of copper tubes filled with specific crystals, coils and organic material. It absorbs the negative energy emitted by Electro Magnetic Forcefields (EMF’s). These devices can cancel or greatly reduce the harmful effects of EMF’s.

" Vortex Cards":  These are geometrically shaped cards on a magnetic strip to create very powerful energy. These cards neutralize the effect of  both electromagnetic pollution and geopathic stress.
